Escort 332 is in honor of the Tuskegee Airmen. This custom built 1969 Ford Mustang fastback wears the colors representing the Red Tailed P-51 Mustangs flown by the fighter pilots of the 332nd Fighter Group of WWII. The Tuskegee Airmen breached the racial barrivers that made it possible for minority men and women to have success in the military and civilian life when hard work and dedication were applied.

This car project is an effort to not only honor our African-American aviation war heroes but to also educate people of the great contributions that were made by these brave men who had to overcome adversity, hatred, and racism in the U.S. military to fly in combat.

This car will help generate interest about the Tuskegee Airmen and aid in the education of audiences that are outside of the military and aviation circles and connect directly with the automotive industry.
